“That’s fair enough.” Willow was quiet for a moment before grinning just a little. “Hey maybe when it’s not quite as tired out we could people watch at the mall.” That might also move Dawnie out of the fray a little.
“Sounds like a plan to me!”
Dawn returned the grin genuinely– - the idea of going out with Willow was nice, especially considering how busy the Scoobies had all been lately. Maybe they’d even be able to convince Tara and Xander to come, and make a date out of the whole outing.
“Trust me when I say that even you could probably take me at this moment in time.” She admitted wearily.
“This isn’t your sister’s town. I remember standing in Sunnydale before it was built, and there are forces more powerful than Buffy that reside here. She should focus on those, rather than ridding this place of me.”
“And why is that? Just a minute ago you were threatening to kill all of us, so why would she let you stay until you’re a problem too?”
