Holding back a yawn of her own, she watched the teenager quietly before speaking again. “Not anything that there’s not a DVD in here for, so really you’re covered.”
"Oh! If they’re all at home, then how about we have our own movie marathon?“
As soon as the suggestion was out of her mouth, Dawn regretted it. Willow looked exhausted, and, unlike her, had already sat through a few (probably super cheesy) movies with the entire gang today.
"Except you’re probably tired– - and– - already saw them– - so forget I said anything, really.”
“One popcorn fiasco and two comic book movies,” Willow answered with a small laugh as she held out a glass of water. “Minimal drool."
”Well, minimal droolage is always a good thing.“
Dawn yawned yet again (hey, she couldn’t help it, she’d been dead tired) as she gratefully accepted the glass from Willow. There had been still a dry, stale taste lingering in the back of her throat, but a large gulp of water quickly took care of that problem.
“Hey there, Dawnie. Nice to see you’ve rejoined the waking world.”
"Huh? Willow…?“
Yawning and stretching, she sits up on the couch. She’s still in the post-nap disorientation stage, and everything’s heavy– - and just a little bit fuzzy, too.
