“Dawn!“ Buffy gasped at her sister, smacking her arm lightly.
"I’ve got no idea what you’re talking about.” The embarrassed
Slayer added, folding her arms trying not to look guilty.
“We didn’t even do anything last night.” She gave a deadpan
expression - was Buffy telling the truth or not? It was hard
to tell, but the tiny twitch at the corner of her mouth was a
giveaway.
“So you guys did do something last night!
– – I knew it!”
Dawn’s expression shifted from feigned disgust to
true amusement at the sight of Buffy’s tiny smile. If
she was honest with herself, Buffy and Cordelia
were pretty cute– - maybe even cuter than Willow
and Tara used to be, if that was even possible– -
so as long as she didn’t hear or see anything…
weird, her opinion of them would stay that way.
