—- And that’s how they found themselves here,

In one of Sunnydale’s m a n y cemeteries,
waiting for a fresh vamp to rise ….

                                On a SCHOOL NIGHT.

          “Giles says that ninety percent of the slaying
            game is waiting … or was it ninety-nine
            percent? I can’t remember exactly, but either
            way there’s a whole lot of waiting involved.”

          “I think I got that by now.”

They’ve already been waiting for way too long, in Dawn’s
opinion. It’s chilly,  and boring,  and  definitely  not  what
she  had  in  mind  when  she  asked  to  learn  to  fight.

She doesn’t say any of this out loud though;
if she does, Buffy might decide to go home.

          "How much longer are we gonna have
            to wait ‘til one of them shows up?“

    "Vamps don’t really work on a schedule. But they do like to show up when you least expect it.” Buffy paused to pull two...
